We moved to Costa Rica in July of 2006 in response to God's
call in our lives to minister abroad and share the gospel with
Latinos in Central America. Our burden is to help equip
national Pastors for their work here and hopefully abroad as
they go out as missionaries themselves into foreign lands.
We are also currently assisting teammates with Roca Viva Iglesia,
a church plant in the city of Paraíso.
We appreciate your interest in our ministry and covet your
prayers. Below you'll find some prayer requests for our
family and our ministry in Costa Rica.
Family health - rainy
season is upon us with mold and allergies. Monika has
had stomach problems for about a month from gastritis.
Spiritual growth for the members of our
church plant in Paraíso.
We are in a new location and are enjoying the added space
for the children! Monika will be teaching three women
how to prepare lessons and run the children's ministry.
Since our teammates are leaving for the states, Dave will be
flying solo as well as planning a team trip from our home
church scheduled for the first two weeks in July.
Piedras Vivas has
completed half of the 6 modules so far and will take a break
until August. Please pray for the following men who
will be teaching the remaining three modules as they prepare
their coursework: Dana Arledge, Mark Henzler, and Cam
Woolford.
